“Coffee Inc.” is the illustrated tale of my experience with the regular patrons at the Dunkin Donuts across the street from my old apartment.
For a month I observed, sketched and recorded their conversations in order to create an authentic and amusing tale that captured the quirky spirit of the individuals that I so enjoyed listening to when I would come in to use the cafe’s free wi-fi.
A series of Canadian wildlife nursery prints featuring a Sly Fox; a Sweet Fawn; a Cheeky Chickadee; a Clever Rabbit; an Innocent Cub; and the snowy forest that they live in with a quote to tie them all together.
“Julia’s Outfit” is a story that I wrote and illustrated inspired by my real life experience as a free-spirited child who was always allowed to express myself thanks to my mom:
It's Julia’s first day of school and she is very excited! To celebrate such a special day, she must find something special to wear. She sets out with her puppy pal and puts together a very special outfit indeed. But will her mom let her go to school dressed like that?
